The Love You Denied Her

"Blood is thicker than water.",
that's what he told her;
at least before things started to falter;
she grasped and he was not there..

Life was happy and simple;
I ran, slipped and he stood me up as I stumbled;
And though I may have always fumbled
He used to be proud to say I'm bright and nimble..

Those were the days when it was just him and me;
He felt he didn't have a choice so he held on to her memories,
And yes, that was through me
All along I thought it was because he loves me.

Well that's what I supposed
And I didn't mean to impose
But I came from him like the bud to rose
And when they got back together, I was disposed..

Pillows and blankets with my cold tears;
I have hugged them for years;
Through and through piled up the pains and the fears,
Until now my heart begs for love but no one hears..

Cuddles here and there,
From friends and touch and go lovers,
But none of them would sober
The love you denied her.

Forevermore

You asked me why i want to see your face
when you grow old
 I just kept silent but truth be told,

I wanted to see the man in my future;
your white hair, wrinkles and hunched back I figured..

I wanted to see the man I'd be holding for the rest of my days,
the same person I'll be sleeping with,
and will be waking up with,
I am excited to see you and know that I will still love you and be loved by you until more than I could imagine.

Until the sun decides to set at the east,
and the sea stops touching the sand,
for as long as I could hold my heart,
and as long as the time could tick,
until my soul stops its existence and beyond..
I will love you forevermore.

My Garden of Love

Strength and dignity are her clothing
And she laughs at the time to come
She opens her mouth with wisdom
And kindness is on her tongue

She is the essence of beauty
Of how perfect life can be
She carries her heart with compassion
And I look at her with all adoration

My mother is a woman of God
I am proud to say I am her todd
And if God will bless me
She is everything I want to be

I will cherish her forever
Give back all the love she delivered
And when it will be her time to wither
My love will be the one to pour her
And keep her as the most beautiful flower.
